Yellow and Blue Wedding at Fireman's Park in Chaska

I was so lucky to get to work with a wonderful bride and groom (Marisa and Jeff) last year!  They were so much fun to work with and I loved getting to set up flowers in the park by the pond.  We were surrounded by geese and ducks with a little bit of drizzling while we were setting up and then it cleared up and everything was sunny and beautiful.  I loved the bright yellows for a hot summer day!  I also loved the daisies we had hanging on the arch to add an extra touch of their bright white and yellow.  I'd like to thank 10000 Lakes Photography for some great photos of the day!  Please check them out at www.facebook.com/10klp.

Take a peek...

Here is beautiful Marisa in beautiful field of flowers.  Her bouquet was a mix of hydrangea mums, daisies, spray roses, and asters.  She wanted a mix of soft blues and bright yellows to play off her maid's dress of navy blue.

A close up of the bouquet and bout (which was spray roses, aster, dock, and chamomile.

Another view of the bouquet.

We went with all yellows and a touch of white for the Maid of Honor - mums, hydrangea, daisies, and aster.

The Ceremony...

The groom made this beautiful arch just for the special day.  We added strands of white and yellow daisies, as well as clusters of yellows, whites, and greens in the corners of the arch.  Mostly roses, mums, larkspur, spray roses, daisies, aster, greens.  The bride and groom added some of their own plants to the base.

We also added some flowers to the aisle chairs and some bright yellow petals for the aisle.

For the reception, the bride and groom did their own centerpieces with just some rentals from me and their venue, and some bright yellow standard mums.

Thanks again Marisa and Jeff!  Loved working with you!!  :)

Pretty Fall Wedding at The Wilds

I had so much fun working with Kristen on her wedding last fall!  She was so sweet and wonderful!  I loved the fall colors and it was a perfectly beautiful day at the beautiful Wilds Golf Club in Shakopee, MN.  Here are a few photos to enjoy...

Here is Kristen and her mom - you can see we did a bridal bouquet of all gorgeous orange mango mini-callas.  Her mom is wearing a small corsage of oranges and yellows.

Here is a pic of the bride with her maids in chocolate brown.  They had bouquets of mini-callas, high and magic roses, yellow "babe" spray roses, hypericum berries, and some orange "miracle" roses.

Another photo in the pretty fall leaves with the bride and her maid of honor.

The bride showing her mini-calla bouquet.

For the ceremony, we added curly willow to their arch, as well as red dahlias and high and magic orange/yellow roses.

Here are a couple of pics of the cake with some dahlias, high and magic roses, yellow sprays, red hypericum berries, and some wheat pieces.  The cake had chocolate ribbon and amber and red votives to add to the autumn feel.

For the centerpieces, Kristen wanted to have mason jars with some burlap and raffia, with wheat pieces in them.  We added some burlap squares, some angelvine rings around the base of the jars with some small flowers and berries, mini-pumpkins with the table numbers in them, and colored votives.

Coral and Silver May Wedding at The Wilds

This wedding is especially close to my heart, as it is the wedding of my daughter and her husband!  They got married in May of last year when the trees were blooming, the weather was beautiful, and their bright corals and silvers made for an absolutely beautiful wedding day.  While doing all the flowers for the wedding day was a little bit stressful, I had a bunch of help with set up and take down and everything went very smoothly.

The ceremony took place at our church - St. John the Baptist, in Savage, MN.  The reception was held at The Wilds, in Prior Lake, MN.  Having worked with both before, it was no surprise that everything went according to plan and we had a perfect day!  The Wilds provided an excellent setting and meal and we couldn't have asked for anything better.  We were also lucky enough to have the beautiful and awesome Kate and Sam Botwinski (www.katebotwinskiphotography.com, www.facebook.com/katebotwinskiphotography - we love them so much!) there to give us such special photos to remember all the details and love of the day.

Here are some of the beautiful photos...

This is one of my favorites with the blooming trees in the background.  Meg wanted mostly phalaenopsis orchids in her bouquet with a touch of the pinks, peaches, and corals in the background, so we had some pink peonies, coral and pink roses, spray roses, and mini-carnations underneath the phalaenopsis orchids to peek through with a little bit of color.  She wore some coral spray roses in her hair and Jared had a white phalaenopsis orchid as his bout.

The bridesmaids had bouquets of white hydrangea, coral, peach, and pink spray roses.

The groomsmen and ushers had spray rose bouts in either coral and white or all white.

Here is the church - St. John The Baptist in Savage, MN.  We had some floral accents on some of the pews along the aisle and then simple arrangements of manzanita branches with orchid heads in front of the altar.

The aisle flowers were larkspur, stock, roses, and spray roses with a touch of variegated pittosporum and silver ribbon.

Then the reception was held at the gorgeous golf club "The Wilds" in Prior Lake, MN.  Here are some of the details from the reception...

We had several different types of centerpieces to keep things interesting and a bit more cost effective.  The first was a pedestal vase with white hydrangea, roses in coral, pink, and peach, garden roses, spray roses, and variegated pittosporum.  We added silver and clear votives and silver table runners

The second type was a pedestal vase with floating silver and white candles, clear stones, and clear and silver votives, as well as silver table runners.

The third style was a tall arrangement in a pilsner vase of curly willow, larkspur and stock in pinks, whites, and corals.  Again with silver table runners and silver and clear votives.

The fourth type was a tall square vase with a few phalaenopsis orchids submerged and a silver floating candle, as well as silver runners, and silver votives.

and the last kind was silver lanterns filled with some roses and spray roses, as well as some greens.  We had lots of silver and clear candles surrounding the lantern and silver table runners.

The head table had the bouquets placed along the table and some accents of pink and ivory astilbe in bud vases, as well as sequined silver runners and crystal votives.

You can see a bridesmaid's bouquet a little closer here with the silver wrap shown as well.

We added lots of spray roses to the cake and a cute topper.  We also surrounded the cake with clusters of silver votives.

In the outer areas, we had a guestbook table, placecard table, and a remembrance table.

The guestbook table and placecard table had votives lined along the back and some extra florals in bud vases and bottles, as well as sequined silver table runners.

The remembrance bouquet was used at both the church and on the remembrance table at the reception.  We laid out some orchid heads here and there, as well.

And here is just one of my favorite photos of the happy couple :)
